The Admeter superbowl people's choice

Admeter measured average joe preference for all the spots aired during the recent superbowl and suprisingly all the ones the ad industry thinks are good were beaten out by two relatively dumb ads feauturing dogs.So either the good ads are good and the copy testing is bad, or the copy testing is accurate and we may all be wasting our time...

IBM Watson

IBM is celebrating it's centenary this year and it's unleashed this project called WATSON.

 

A few years ago they set out to create a computer that could understand natural language. Essentially a HAL9000 type thing.  Their objective -  a computer that could participant in the game show Jeopardy in realtime against human contestants.
